Life goes by really fast, and it seems that there are times when you’re burying a lot of friends and family. And then there are times that feel really precious and everybody is doing okay. This is one of those times.

#i think tyler is one of the characters that grew the most through the seasons #he has basically lost everything #first his girlfriend died and then his father #and i think people like to forget about this #because he was a bit of a douche back then and didn’t show exactly how much he cared about people in his life #(but ffs it’s his own father of course he did care) #a while later his uncle gets murdered just after telling him that he has a werewolf gene #so tyler is all alone with that information and he ends up killing someone #he does have caroline for a short time #but then he kind of screws that up and i think fandom still hasn’t forgiven him for that #(after all - klaus can almost kill caroline a million times but the second tyler does something that ends up with her getting hurt #he is the worst shit ever) #he leaves his mother and his best friends because he thinks he doesn’t deserve any of them (or caroline) #when he comes back he gets ten seconds of happiness before he is turned into a freaking hybrid as an experiment by klaus #he is controlled by him and even bites and almost kills his own girlfriend #(which is still unforgivable for some people even though klaus forced him to) #he suffers through a million times turning to get rid of the idiotic sire bond #he even helps other hybrids to get free too #they become his pack and he cares about them #but then klaus kills them all #and he kills tyler’s mother in the same night too #(that’s okay for a part of the fandom because tyler dared to free klaus’ hybrids and no one is allowed to hurt poor klaus) #now all tyler has left is caroline #but klaus takes her away from him too by saying that tyler either leaves town or else klaus will kill him right now #so he is forced to leave behind everything once again #and i just really wonder how this is fair #(i’m upset)
